& Conditions.
1. Introduction
Welcome to M-Dogz!
We’re a local pet care service offering dog walking and pet drop-in visits in and around Caernarfon.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain how we provide our services and what you agree to when you book with us.
By using our services, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
2. Our Services
M-Dogz provides:
Regular and one-off dog walks
Home drop-in visits for pets (feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, etc.)
Other agreed pet care services as discussed at booking
Each service is delivered with care, compassion, and professionalism. We aim to treat every pet as if they were our own. 🐾
3. Bookings & Payments
All bookings must be made in advance via phone or email.
Payment is due within 7 days of receipt of invoice.
Accepted payment methods: bank transfer or cash.
Prices are listed on our website or provided upon request.
If we ever need to adjust our rates, we’ll give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
We understand that plans change!
Cancellations with at least 24 hours’ notice: no charge.
Cancellations within 24 hours: full fee may apply.
If we ever need to cancel (e.g. due to illness or unsafe weather), you’ll be informed as soon as possible and offered a refund or rescheduled session.
5. Your Responsibilities
To keep all pets safe and happy, we ask that you:
Ensure your dog is microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date with flea/tick/worm treatments.
Provide honest information about your pet’s behaviour, health, and temperament.
Supply suitable collars, leads, and harnesses in good condition.
Provide a safe environment for M-dogz to enter (for drop-ins).
Inform us of any changes in your pet’s health or routine.
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue services if a pet shows aggression or poses a safety risk.
6. Health & Safety
Your pet’s wellbeing is our top priority.
Dogs will only be walked in safe, appropriate locations.
Fresh water is always available on walks and visits.
We will not walk dogs in extreme weather (heat, storms, or icy conditions) if it may endanger them — alternative arrangements will be made.
In the event of an emergency, we will contact you (and your vet if necessary) immediately. If we cannot reach you, we’ll act in your pet’s best interest and seek veterinary attention if required.
You agree to cover any veterinary costs that arise from pre-existing conditions or unexpected illness/injury during our care, unless caused by our negligence.
7. Keys & Home Access
For drop-ins or walk collections, we may need access to your property.
All keys and entry codes are stored securely and never labelled with personal addresses.
We will only enter your home for agreed purposes and take great care to ensure it is left safe and secure upon leaving.
We are fully insured for home and key handling.
8. Insurance & Liability
M-Dogz holds public liability insurance for pet care services.
While every precaution is taken, M-Dogz cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, or illness that occurs despite reasonable care and supervision.
We are not liable for damage caused by pets in their own home or while on walks, unless caused by our negligence.
You remain legally responsible for your pet’s behaviour under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 and other relevant UK laws.
9. Group Walks (if applicable)
If your dog joins a group walk:
Only friendly and social dogs will be grouped together.
Group sizes are kept small to ensure safety and control.
Dogs may be transported securely in our vehicle (with seatbelts, crates, or partitions).
10. Emergencies
In the unlikely event of an emergency:
We’ll first attempt to contact you and your nominated emergency contact.
If immediate action is required, we will take your pet to the nearest vet.
You authorise M-Dogz to make decisions on your behalf if necessary for your pet’s welfare.
You agree to reimburse any emergency veterinary fees not caused by our negligence.
11. Privacy & Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously.
Any personal or pet information you share with us is kept confidential and used only to deliver our services.
Our full Privacy Policy (available on our website) explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in line with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
12. Photography & Social Media
We love sharing happy pet moments! 🐶🐾
From time to time, we may take photos of your pets during walks or visits. These may be shared on our social media or website — if you would like to opt out please inform us in writing.
13. Complaints & Feedback
We want every experience with M-Dogz to be positive.
If you’re unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us directly so we can resolve it quickly and fairly.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
By booking with M-Dogz, both parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any disputes that may arise.
15. Updates to These Terms
We may occasionally update these Terms to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements.
Any updates will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date.
